Community Guidelines

Our Commitment

FlareBuilder is a platform for organizations to create, manage, and distribute content. We're committed to maintaining a safe, respectful environment for all users and their audiences. These guidelines apply to all content created, published, and shared through the FlareBuilder platform.

Content Standards

Content published through FlareBuilder must not include:

  • Illegal content — Material that violates applicable laws or promotes illegal activities
  • Hate speech — Content that promotes violence or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
  • Harassment — Content designed to threaten, intimidate, or bully individuals or groups
  • Misinformation — Deliberately false or misleading content that could cause harm, particularly regarding health, safety, or elections
  • Spam — Repetitive, unsolicited, or deceptive content published in bulk
  • Malware — Content that distributes or links to malicious software
  • Privacy violations — Unauthorized sharing of personal or confidential information
  • Copyright infringement — Use of copyrighted material without proper authorization or attribution

Organization Conduct

Organizations using FlareBuilder agree to:

  • Use accurate information when creating and managing their account
  • Not impersonate other organizations, brands, or individuals
  • Manage user access responsibly using FlareBuilder's role system
  • Respect the publishing workflow, including editorial approval processes
  • Report any security vulnerabilities or abuse they discover

API and Feed Usage

Users of the Feed API and webhooks must:

  • Respect rate limits and caching headers
  • Not attempt to access content or data outside their authorized scope
  • Not use the API to scrape, mirror, or redistribute content without authorization
  • Protect webhook secrets and access tokens from unauthorized disclosure

Enforcement

We review reported content and accounts based on these guidelines. When violations are identified, we may take the following actions:

  • Warning — Notifying the organization of the violation and requesting correction
  • Content removal — Removing specific content that violates these guidelines
  • Account suspension — Temporarily suspending access to the platform
  • Account termination — Permanently removing the organization and its content

The severity of the action depends on the nature, frequency, and intent of the violation.

Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it to abuse@flarebuilder.com. Include as much detail as possible, such as the organization subdomain, specific content, and the nature of the violation.

We review all reports and take appropriate action. We may not be able to share the outcome of investigations due to privacy considerations.

Changes

We may update these Community Guidelines as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active organizations. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
